Our potatoes

When it comes to potatoes, we really know our onions… we’ve been growing potatoes on our farm for over 50 years.

Back when we started out, all the potatoes came straight from our fields but as our baked potatoes became more popular, we needed to source from elsewhere too.

While a few still come from our farm (the minority these days), the rest are grown on other farms around the country. We only ever bake British potatoes and, whenever we can, we use potatoes grown on neighbouring farms and across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

The humble spud is something of a superhero in our eyes. Low in calories and fat, high in fibre, packed with vitamins and with zero cholesterol, it really is a magic ingredient.

BAKING, ROASTING, MASHING

From classic jackets to our mini potato skins, every one of our recipes started in our farmhouse kitchen. Now we make them on a slightly bigger scale – but with exactly the same methods as we do at home.

WHY FROZEN?

Freezing is one of the oldest methods of preserving food, naturally. It’s a great way to lock in nutrients, seal in flavour, cut down on waste and to have food on-hand when you need it.

Whether you’re rushed off your feet or just taking the night off, you can always have good wholesome food on the table in a flash. It’s a promise – from our family to yours.
