Gold award for our Garlic & Rosemary Roasting Potatoes
With good news in relatively short supply at the moment, we had a very welcome bit of good news this week when we discovered that we’ve won a Gold award for our Garlic & Rosemary Roasting Potatoes at this year’s Free From Food Awards.
At a “virtual” prize giving, our roasts were recognised in the Store Cupboard category. Here are the judges’ comments:
“Super tasty. Great ingredients. Top 14 Free. Very garlicky. Well-seasoned, lovely taste of rosemary. Crispy outside and fluffy inside. Perfect.”
Our Garlic & Rosemary Roasting Potatoes have had a terrific run of awards success since we launched them just over a year ago.
As well as being Highly Commended by the Great British Food Awards 2019, the roasts won in the Meal Accompaniments category of last year’s The Grocer New Product Awards and were recognised as the best vegetarian roast potatoes by Good Housekeeping magazine in their recent Easter Taste Test.
Our roasts are par-roasted and tumbled in garlic and rosemary together with locally produced cold pressed Yorkshire rapeseed oil, so it’s not hard to imagine that they taste as delicious as they sound!
